LANCE MCDANIEL
Lance McDaniel is Executive Director of deadCenter Film, an Oklahoma City based nonprofit that leads free film classes to
3,000 rural high school students each fall, provides year round continuing education for working film professionals, and hosts
an annual film festival for 33,000 people each June.
Lance is also an Emmy nominated filmmaker who has worked on twenty-one feature films, including Oscar winner Million Dollar
Baby.
Lance has directed and produced four narrative features, two documentaries, three short films, and one Virtual Reality
360 film.
Lance is President of the Board of SixTwelve in the Paseo, Marketing Chair for the Leadership Oklahoma Board, and Sergeant
at Arms for Oklahoma City Rotary Club 29.
Lance is an advisor for the film and digital video programs at Oklahoma City Community College, Moore Norman Tech Center,
and the Oklahoma Arts Institute.
Lance holds a Masters in Film from OCU and an undergraduate degree from Stanford University, where he served as Senior
