BIO

Debbi Tucker is an Oklahoma born & raised actress who's always had a love of film, music, books--anything creative as a typical Libra should! She took drama in high school & college but didn't venture into the film realm until the late 90s while living in Austin. There she began working with the UT Film students & doing background work in films, commercials & TV shows. Also some local fims with speaking roles to gain experience. Most memorable projects while there include Terrence Malick's Tree of Life in which she was a background actor and the HBO film Temple Grandin in which she was also background.

Her job took her back home to OK where she found Facebook groups & began acting, though having to work it around her full-time telecom job. She quickly gained more background work & got an agent as well. She acquired more training, went to a lot more auditions & was lucky enough to become SAG-e through her work on Children of the Corn: Runaway. She also had a minor role in Sick Girl. She's even gone to DFW to work on an intense drama No Ordinary Love dealing with intimate abuse in marriages where she played the mother of one of the abusers. She also goes to MO & AR frequently for commercials & enjoys doing those here at home in OK as well. Memorable roles here were as background in the Academy-award winning film Minari which was filmed in Tulsa. Even as a background actor there, it was a wonderful experience & she was so glad to see that her tiny part was kept in place!

Debbi is totally retired now so she is free to pursue her love of acting with no conflicts or time constraints. She hopes to keep at it for as long as she can. She considers it a joy to see all aspects even the behind-the-scenes work by the dedicated crews to bring our films to life. She simply loves it & enjoys meeting all kinds of people from all ages & walks of like. She loves running into film friends over & over.

Now that Oklahoma's film industry is booming, she hopes to do even more great things! Auditions are in the works, so she's keeping her fingers crossed!
